Let me tell you about my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, a cautionary tale I hope you'll learn from. I placed an order with GlassesUSA back on February 24th, paying $246 for glasses I never even received. My order number, #105081183, is still stuck in Atlanta, Georgia, according to their tracking. What's worse, I couldn't get a response for a refund, only a BOT telling me it was in transit. This company is atrocious! I felt compelled to leave this review and engage with their customer service because they had my hard-earned money and refused to respond, leaving me no choice but to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and even the Vermont Attorney General's office.
Customer: I am calling about order #105081183. I placed this order for $246 back on February 24th, and I still haven't received my glasses. The tracking hasn't updated in weeks, and I keep getting bot responses when I try to get a refund. Where is my money? CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the significant delay with your order and the frustrating experience you've had trying to get assistance. I see here that a refund was initiated for order #105081183. Customer: Initiated? It only got initiated because I had to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General! Why do I have to wait another 7 to 10 business days for my own money? This is completely unacceptable! CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize that you had to take those steps to get our attention. The 7-10 business day timeframe is standard processing time for our finance department once a refund is approved and submitted, but I assure you, it is now in process. Customer: Well, it shouldn't have come to this in the first place. I just want my money back as quickly as possible.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
