My recent online shopping experience was an absolute nightmare, and I'm sharing it as a stern warning to others. I thought I'd finally found a reliable place for glasses, having ordered twice before without issues. But my third order revealed the true nature of this company: they are nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid for "next day delivery" thinking I'd get my glasses quickly, only to receive an email hours later stating it would take 3 business days! This blatant disregard for their promises, combined with the impossible task of reaching a human, forced me to confront their customer service, hoping for an explanation and a resolution.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery on my order, and now I'm being told it will take 3 business days. This is unacceptable, and I want my $19.95 delivery fee refunded immediately. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir/ma'am. I apologize for the discrepancy between what was advertised and your order confirmation. Let me look into your order for you. Can I have your order number, please? Customer: It's 123456789. And I've already tried calling and using your live chat, both were automated bots. It's ridiculous that I had to pretend to place a new order just to speak to a human. CS Rep: I hear your concerns about our support channels. I apologize for the difficulty you experienced reaching us. I see your order #123456789 for Plano lenses. It appears there was an unforeseen delay in processing, which unfortunately affected the "next day delivery" option for this specific item. Customer: So, you admit it wasn't next-day delivery, and yet you charged me for it? I want that fee refunded. And what about my glasses? When will they actually arrive? CS Rep: Yes, you are absolutely right. You were charged for a service not rendered. I am processing a full refund for the $19.95 next-day delivery fee right away, which should reflect in your account within 3-5 business days. Regarding your glasses, they were shipped on February 21st and are currently in transit, expected to be delivered by February 24th. I apologize again for the misleading information and the inconvenience.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and to expose their truly horrible customer service.
