Bait-and-Switch BOGO Scam & A Customer Service Nightmare 😤
I'm writing this to warn everyone about my terrible online shopping experience. I was attracted by a promotion, but their website glitches and lack of support turned it into a nightmare. After finally getting through, their proposed "solution" was insulting and impractical. It showed a complete disregard for customer convenience. My conclusion about this company is this: Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. Will NOT return and I do NOT recommend them. This is the responses of what they offered. Return them ( even though their correct style and prescription. ) to RETURN AND REORDER to get the bogo they messed up and admitted. Simple solution? Credit back to my card used. Nah that's too easy. This infuriating interaction is exactly why I felt compelled to contact them and share my story.
Customer: Your BOGO promotion failed at checkout due to a site error, and I was charged for both pairs of glasses. I need a refund for the second pair.
CS Rep: I apologize for the technical issue you experienced. To fix this, you will need to return both pairs, and once we receive them, you can place a new order to correctly apply the promotion.
Customer: That's a ridiculous solution. The glasses are the correct style and prescription. Why can't you just credit back the amount for the second pair to my card? It was your website's fault.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, but our policy requires a return for a refund. We are unable to issue a partial credit for an order that has already been processed and shipped.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
