GlassesUSA: The Never-Ending '1-2 Business Days' Nightmare 🌀
I'm writing this as a warning to others. Buying from GlassesUSA was the most frustrating shopping experience that I’ve had in a long time, not just in purchasing glasses but in buying any product or service. They will offer you no visibility into the status of your order, and their response anytime you ask will always inevitably amount to “not to worry, please allow another 1-2 business days for an update”. That update will never come, nor will the product that you paid for. To put it very succinctly and very honestly, GlassesUSA is a terrible business that would gladly rob you of your money if they could get away with it. After weeks of getting the runaround, I felt I had to contact them directly to get a straight answer.
Customer: My order was marked as "shipped" three weeks ago, but both DHL and USPS confirm they have never received the package. Can you please tell me where my glasses actually are?
CS Rep: I understand your concern. Not to worry, I see your order here. Please allow another 1-2 business days for an update from our Delivery team.
Customer: That's the exact same thing I was told last week. Your support agents keep giving me conflicting and false information. I need a real update now, not another scripted delay.
CS Rep: I do apologize for the frustration, sir. I have sent an urgent request to the Delivery team to investigate the shipment status. They will get back to you.
Customer: I've lost all faith in your "Delivery team." I'm documenting this conversation. If I don't receive a refund or a valid tracking number within 24 hours, I am filing a dispute with my bank.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry you feel that way. We are doing everything we can to resolve this for you.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
